Privacy policy

This policy explains how Lonestar Recovery (“we”, “us”) uses personal information. We are based at Unit 13b, Scotts Farm House, Amen Corner, Binfield, Bracknell RG12 8TD. If you have a question about your data, email paul@bodytechbracknell.co.uk.

What we collect

• When you call us: your phone number and what you tell us about where you are, your vehicle and what has happened.
• When you ask for a callback: your name, phone number, location and what’s wrong. We also record the page you sent it from and, if you arrived from an ad, the ad click reference (gclid, gbraid, wbraid) and campaign tags.
• When you message us on WhatsApp: your message, and your location if you choose to share it. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp LLC under its own privacy policy.

Why we use it

To reach you, recover or move your vehicle, take payment and keep records we have to keep. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before and during a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running the business. Analytics and advertising measurement only run if you consent.

Who we share it with

Our website host, Netlify, stores callback requests. If you accept cookies, Google receives usage data through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads. We don’t sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep callback requests and job records only as long as we need them for the job, payment and our legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
